Geocaching


Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences online. Geocaching is enjoyed by people from all age groups, with a strong sense of community and support for the environment.

I've been geocaching for since 2004 and have found 69 caches to date.  I am not a Geocache nut who must cache every weekend and will travel the length and bredth of the country to find that last cache.  But, I do get a buzz out of finding then and it is a great excuse for a walk in the country where you would not ordinarily venture.
