Darren is an education professional with 11 years of experience of working at school and at Local Education Authority level in the field of e-learning and associated ICT systems. He is committed to integrating pedagogical practice with high quality ICT solutions both in individual school environments and at the wider local authority and/or regional level. Darren has extensive experience in working within the national ICT agenda and has dealt with Regional Broadband Consortia, the DfES and other non executive government bodies, to this end Darren has also provided consultative services to a number of these national organisations.  Darren’s experience also extends into the private sector where he has worked with a number of companies in both a client / supplier role and most successfully with companies in a partnership working approach, the closest partnership of which has led to Darren being a key member of the supplier/local authority team which helped secure the NETLinc Project the BCS ICT Professionals Award for Social Inclusion in 2004. Darren is an enthusiastic individual and excellent team player. 

More recently Darren has had varied and sucessful experiences in the Building Schools For the Future programme working for one of the UKs most sucessful ICT providers.

Darren is used to managing both his time and other staff, and has experience in leading people through organisational change.
